About Us...
I grew up in South Louisiana with a love for woodworking and design. I took a few design courses in High School and college. When I graduated I followed my woodworking interest by learning carpentry. From there I had the unique opportunity to mentor under a friend who was a furniture maker. I began to go at it on my own by acquiring tools and equipment for my first shop. In 2001 I was able to purchase my lathe in Germany. After the lathe arrived we began to specialize in turnings. 
Stairways have always held a fascination for me. They more often than not become a focal point to a home adding both charm and elegance. The turned newel and balusters are certainly a major part of the elegance. Aside from stairways, turnings are one of the easiest and economical ways to accent kitchen cabinets. Both appliqués and island legs grace more and more homes. Wrap around fireplace mantels with beautiful wood columns are second only to stairways in adding that special touch that sets a home apart.
