Stairway Installation: A homeowner's experience Last Updated: Tuesday, November 24 2009

In his blog article, editor of Fine Homebuilding, Kevin Ireton, gives us a humorous glimpse into his experience of installing the balusters for his own stairway. Experience is certainly the best teacher when it comes to staircase installation or just about anything else for that matter. The problem for many of us is that our first opportunity to install (or should I say "practice" an installation) a stairway is on our own. And so we get to live with our mistakes. I have certainly lived with many of mine but as I get older my mistakes at least seem to be fewer and farther between. Go here for the full article.
