Synopsis: Victorian Balusters

I saw a drawing similar to these wooden balusters in Rachel Carley's "The Visual Dictionary of American Domestic Architecture". I thought I would try my hand at drawing and rendering them with the possibility of making them at a future date. Of course, the distinctive feature of these is the four "V" notches near the base. They are rendered in cherry much like my product images in the newel section. Carley has them listed under "Victorian - Queen Anne". These would have been produced around the turn of the 20th century.
