This is another fine example from Boston Home Designs of how to embellish your kitchen with hand-carved products. In this case the, rangehood, undoubtedly custom made, is enhanced with a small shelf supported with hand-carved corbels. Besides adding interest, this is a great way to display the small curios that you have been saving for the last several years.  Notice, too, the hand carved appliques just below the crown molding.  The designers have chosen a grape motif for the corbels as well as the appliques below the crown.
