These columns were made for the inside of a home (poplar is not the best wood species for exterior work).  These are about nine feet high.  The fluted columns are seven inches at the base and taper to about 6 inches.  The rope twist columns are six inches in diameter.  Caps and bases were added by the cabinet maker who ordered these.  Again the handsome guy in the picture is my youngest son.
