Synopsis: Arched Balustrade

This is an interesting stairway from the Buffaloah.com web site - a compilation of historical homes and architectural elements in Buffalo, NY. The individual balusters support an arch that connects to the other balusters.  The resulting arches are reminiscent of a Roman arch.  The staircase is a part of the Mabel Letchworth Wilson House
