One of the most frequent questions I receive is how to install newel caps. Some of the stair installers I speak to have never installed newel caps. In fact, some have been installing stair systems for years and have not come across a stairway that required a newel post with a cap. It is a little more challenging than installing stock items from a stair manufacturer.
