Synopsis: Rope Twisted Baluster Prototype



I designed these balusters after viewing some one else work. His were not actually stair balusters but spindles used for some other purpose. They are 1 3/4 inch in diameter. The rope twist is made with an 1 3/4 inch diameter cutter as well as well. The stairway is drawn with 10 1/4 inch treads and a 7 1/2 inch rise. The center section of the baluster is square and not round.
