Box NewelsOur box newels come in a wide variety of sizes and wood species. Please see our individual box newel products to determine the particular wood species available for each. You will notice that a number of our box newels are available primed as well. Our box newels offering includes panel boxes, fluted and plain. As are most box newels, ours are hollow and most commonly installed using a block of wood that is first fastened to a framing member using bolts or lag screws. The box newel is then slipped over the installation block and fastened to it.
