Wood Newel

7" X 44" over-the-post wood newel

This is one of our big wood newels. With a 7" wide base it is only slightly smaller than our N108 stair newel. It is modeled after classic Greek columns and available fluted or plain. This fine wood newel requires a custom made cap to fit the profile of your handrail. If I am not providing the handrail please send a small cross section of your rail so that I can match the cap to the rail. See installing newel caps for how this works. As are all of my pieces, this one is shipped ready to paint or stain.
