Maple Newel

5 1/2" X 44" over-the-post newel

This is a new maple newel model I designed - simple but elegant. It, of course, is modeled after classic Greek columns. It is available fluted or plain. And though I have listed this as a maple newel it is available in other wood species as well. This fine maple newel post requires a custom made cap to fit the profile of your handrail. If I am not providing the handrail please send a small cross section of your rail so that I can match the cap to the rail. See installing newel caps for how this works. As are all of my pieces, this one is shipped ready to paint or stain.
